It is used to talk about the rate of something that is sold.
Examples:

She bought these toys at 120/- per dozen.
For speed
It can be used to tell speed.
Examples:
The train is running at the speed of 60 Kilometer Per Hour.
I walk at a speed of 10 km per hour.
For Email
It can be used to mention an email address.
Examples:
I got an email at authorakram@gmail.com.
For skills
To talk about skills.
Examples:
She is good at playing tennis.
I am good at running fast.
