Difference Between Good and Well
When anybody asks you how you are doing, what do you reply to them? There are two common answers: “I am good,” and “I am well.” Since these answers are often used interchangeably, many English learners think that both words have the same meaning. For this reason, we need to learn the difference between Good and Well.
Meaning of Good and Well
Good is an adjective and is used to describe a noun or pronoun. The word well is an adverb and is sued to modify a verb. The difference between good and well becomes clear when we say that An apple is ‘good’, not ‘well‘. And one can play ‘well’ not ‘good’.
